A student applying for study period at the University of Bielsko-Biala has to add the following documents to the compulsory Forms:

  1. copy of ID document / passport
  2. copy of visa (if applicable)

Academic Exchange Office of the University of Bielsko-Biala (international@ath.bielsko.pl) and Departmental Coordinator (Andrzej Urbas, erasmuswbmii@ath.bielsko.pl) should receive NOMINATION LETTER (e-mail with list of nominated students) from Relations Office of the student’s home university firstly.

Nomination letter should contain following data:

– student’s full name and surname,
– gender,
– valid e-mail address,
– period of stay (winter/summer semester, whole academic year).

The following documents are required to be admitted to the Departmental Coordinator (Andrzej Urbas, PhD):

  • Learning Agreement – student should collect 25-30 ECTS credits per semester;
  • Transcript of Records;
  • If the students are willing to stay in the dormitory during mobility they should provide Dormitory Agreement form (dormitory is available for all Erasmus students since 21st February 2017 till 15th June 2017).

Students are required to send by post a complete set of original application documents in ENGLISH (duly signed and stamped) to be accepted. Completed set of original documents should be sent by student’s institution or himself to:

Before originals are sent by post please do scans and send them electronically in PDF file to:

  • As receiving institution we consider only set of completed application. In case of any lacks the procedure won’t start.
  • Applications should be filled in on computer and printed.

It is highly recommended not to make any kind of travel arrangements before receiving Letter of Acceptance. 

Procedure of accepting Erasmus student

University of Bielsko-Biala

  • After receiving all required application documents (deadline is 1st December 2016), the Departmental Exchange Coordinator will check your Learning Agreement to see whether the courses student wish to take at the University of Bielsko-Biala are available and whether student previous knowledge is sufficient for participation in the desired courses.
  • From the subjects listed on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science website (http://www.wbmii.ath.bielsko.pl/erasmus/) only courses with sufficient number of participants will be available.
  • Information about courses with sufficient number of participants will be e-mailed to students after middle of December.
  • Until 15th of January 2017 students that will accept our Erasmus Programme, have time to change their learning agreements (changes to the original learning agreement form) according to e-mailed list of available courses. Students are required to send by post an original changes to the original learning agreement form (signed and stamped by home University)
  • Until 22nd of January 2017 students will be notified of the decision by getting Letter of Acceptance.

It is highly recommended not to make any kind of travel arrangements before getting Letter of Acceptance.
